About JSC
Over 30 years ago, Jersey Strand and Cable, Inc. evolved out of a necessity in the industry for a supplier of specialty cable and custom strand in small and miniature sizes using materials that provide very specific properties and capabilities.

Today, Jersey Strand and Cable, Inc. stands as the most diversified fine diameter strand and cable manufacturer of its magnitude in the world and continues to service the needs for custom strand and cable to industries worldwide.

Located in two facilities totaling over 100,000 square feet in Phillipsburg and Washington, New Jersey, JSC utilizes over 200 production machines. These machines, many designed and built at JSC, combined with a multitude of peripheral equipment and supported by a modern testing and development laboratory, ensure that each customer's product is delivered precisely according to specifications.

Management control system for cable manufacture
Using professional consultants, spearheaded by a former IBM systems engineer, we have developed a computerized, fully integrated management control system.

From requests for quotations, purchasing, raw materials, receipt and inspection of incoming raw material throughout the production process, shipping, certification and invoicing, the system controls and records all details to ensure adherence to customer and Jersey Strand & Cable specifications. Our entire operation employs this system at each step of our processes.

Our customers and competitors alike are duly impressed with the instant availability of information. Our system even provides the ability to easily retrieve the entire history of a single spool of wire from its source, through the manufacturing processes, and on to its final disposition.
